자신들이 속한 지역에 인증을 받아야 학교에서 발급하는 성적표, 졸업장에 정식으로 효력이 생깁니다.

정확한 표현은 아니지만, 통상적으로 위의 기관들을 "미국 교육청"이라고들 흔히 부릅니다. 

FVHS의 경우

ACCREDITATION: FULLY Accredited School – we proudly display the Advanc-ED logo with a direct link to their database showing our school is on the list and recognized schools. Advanced-Ed is the parent organization for SACS, NCA, and NWAC.   

SCHOOL CODE:  FVHS is a Florida State Registered School – we proudly display the FL School Choice logo with a direct link to the state site database showing our school is on the list and recognized by the state.  On that link you will see that our school code is 5466.
